I made the foam squirrel last night with a group of 6-9 year old kids in Arnprior, Ontario (about 1h drive from downtown Ottawa).

They were able to make it in about an hour and a half! This is a serious breakthrough in my opinion.

I learned a few things about foam construction. Next lab is tonight with adults!
