Model Plane Meetup
Wednesday we had a meetup. Technically it’s not one the official meetup nights but there seemed to be interest so I did an adhoc meetup.
Six people attended (including myself). We made some Squirrels and the Butterfly Walkalong Glider from Mark Pechuls.
The Squirrels went together well and we practiced launching them in the back of the venue near the dart boards.
Michael and I decorated the walkalong glider. Seems people liked wearing it. 🙂 We glided it a bit at the table. I’m pretty new to walkalong gliders so will work on this more then next meetup.
Squirrels and Daytons
Last night we made Squirrels, Daytons and Peace Planes.
I learned a lot about the new Squirrel Instructions plus the Dayton Instructions got their first test run!
Squirrel-O-Rama Tomorrow Night

Here’s what’s in store. Five people will be making Squirrels and two people will be making Daytons. I’ve also got some Peace Planes (paper planes).
Squirrels in Haiti
My friend Craig Senior hooked me up with an opportunity to donate some Squirrels to children in Haiti. Here’s my new friend Gertha right after briefing. She is in Haiti with her husband now so I’m looking forward to hearing how things are going.
