Sparrows in Montreal
I hopped out to Montreal to make some Sparrow model planes with some Cub Scouts in the Kirkland area. The original plan was to make and fly Squirrels but it was breezy so I decided to make Sparrows.
I must say they are easy to make.
I didn’t get any good video but I managed to land one on that roof across from the field (see pictures). I included a video of the Sparrow from another flying session so you can get the idea how much fun this is.
Squirrel Planes at Busters
Last night (Sunday) we had a great time at the Squirrel-O-Rama at Busters. If you’d like to attend these check out the events page.
We had 6 people. We actually had three generations of a family all the way down to grade 2. I must say, this young man had very good motor skills and strong communication skills!
Foam Squirrels
I made up this batch of Foam Squirrels for a group of kids in Montreal. They’re not available for purchase yet but will be some day. They are awesome flyers and are very easy to make.
