Bible Camp in BC
There is a bible camp in BC that’s been doing Squirrels for some time now. I received these pictures from them.
Building is one thing but then there’s adding a message and personalization.
It adds another dimension.
There is some function to decorating them with tissue and markers. In a group you are less likely to mix them up. 🙂

Squirrel World Record
Donald Qualls of High Point, NC send this picture in.
He tells me he learned the art of free flight aviation with the Strat-O-Bats in Seattle, WA. After being away from that hobby for more than twenty years he downloaded the free Squirrel instruction sheet and made this model.
This model so happens to have the world record flight of 1:14 (one minute and fourteen seconds).
Well that’s what I believe. Donald has the record (from the following video) and I’m assuming it’s the same model in the video.
Foam Squirrel Experiments
I did more foam experiments. Here I made a few of them at the pub. This young lady decided to decorate the planes with the markers I had floating around.
I had the markers with me with that in mind. I was starting to volunteer at a walk-in center for homeless people and I thought making planes and decorating them would be fun. These experiments proved not only that it is fun but the foam planes are very robust.
