Walkalong Glider Meetups

I’ve been experimenting with Walkalong gliders and think it would be fun to do some meetups to work on these. So please come and bring some friends! Details below!

As it turns out we will have Phil Rossoni at the events on the 8th and 9th. He is an authority on this type of aviation. Here’s a video of an interview by Slater Harrison (also an advocate).

I know I’ve posted a couple of these before but this collection has some details on the construction. I like the DIY propeller construction. I really should look at that for Squirrels or other models.

I also noticed the close-ups didn’t have a wing shim. So either they added it, the sticks were curved or there is some negative pitch on the tailplane.
