Christmas Ideas! An RC Squirrel
Snowed in at Christmas? Randy Lindermen of Silver Lake, Ks, USA was snowed in at Christmas this year. So he made up a few Squirrels including a radio controlled Squirrel. Here are a few pictures of his 2x Squirrel too. I believe it’s 24″ (2 feet).
Squirrel-O-Rama get’s a visit from CBC
We did our regular Squirrel building activity at the Atomic Rooster Pub. We had a visit from the CBC. They took content for radio and television.
CBC Interview with Kathleen Petty
I had the priveledge of being interviewed by Kathleen Petty at the studio on Queen Street in Ottawa. What a great experience.

Ottawa Creative Thinkers Group
On December 16th the OCTG held an event where Ken Provost did a talk on a Problem Solving Tool-box and I did a talk on the Design Methodology I used to design the Squirrel. We did the meeting at the Delta Hotel in the gcTraining facilities.
First Ken the host did a walkthrough of his Took-Box. The group gave lots of ideas and feedback.
Second I gave a review of the model airplane design problem, my design methodology and the Squirrel. I showed some of the actual prototypes. The group was very enthusiastic about my methodology.
Later in the evening we had a couple glasses of wine and reflected on the two presentations.
