I just came across these really nice Squirrels made by Gary Hinze of California.
He’s made a few modifications including wheels.

Looks like the Montreal Makerfaire isn’t on for Squirrel and the new design projects.
Very disappointed to not be able to present at a Makerfaire in a city that is right next door.
Hi Darcy!
Thanks for asking to join the first Montreal Mini Maker Faire.
We are Mini Mini! and will not be able to house a market so we
are focusing on exchanging ideas and not dollars.
We plan to be big enough next year to house all sorts of Makers,
including your brilliant invention!
I look forward to seeing you here then!Dannielle

The glue I like is pretty slow running. If you place the bottle upright it takes a while to get the glue back to the top. You can use the ketchup technique but it’s time consuming.
So I use a glue rack I made from cardboard.
Looks and sounds a little silly but it works. 🙂 Also no new material us used up since this is scrap cardboard from other projects.
I must admit though, there is an even simpler solution that I’ve come across. I just lay the glue on its side rather than stand it up. It comes out quick plus it doesn’t tower my work space which helps if I’m showing someone how to make something. Such as a Squirrel. 🙂
If you’re going to fly Squirrels in Yarker, Ontario. Beware of the cat who chases Squirrels.
The cat is owned by Anna Szczepaniec and Andrzej Maciejewski. I stayed over at their place and we had some fun making Squirrels. It was fun.
I’ve done some experiments with printing on tissue. This is a very tricky business but I managed to figure out a solution. Here are a coupe of printed Squirrel designs. Download 1
